Care Program
At Rock Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we provide comprehensive rehabilitation to
our residents with respiratory and pulmonary conditions. Our ventilator and tracheotomy care program has artfully combined technology with professional loving care to assist you or a loved one.
Rehabilitation occurs at our skilled nursing facility 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid Pending and Private Insurances.
Our interdisciplinary team develops an individualized treatment plan for ventilator dependent patients. Each member of the team is a highly skilled and experienced care professional dedicated to our ventilator care program.
Rock Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center believes that each resident and their family involvement are important in the overall ventilator care, rehabilitation and in weaning from a ventilator.
Our commitment to improved quality of life for our residents is demonstrated by individual goal setting. The primary focus, whenever possible, of ventilator rehabilitation is to wean an individual from mechanical ventilation and to resume or regain an optimal level of independent function.
Our professional staff of registered nurses, respiratory therapists, certified nursing assistants, respiratory assistants, physician, pulmonologist, social worker, dietician and physical, occupational and speech therapists make up our community of care.
