Rock Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a skilled nursing facility providing post hospital and complex medical care as well as On-Site Hemodialysis and Ventilator Dialysis.
Our On-Site Hemodialysis Program is provided through a partnership with Affiliated Home Dialysis using NxStage. The NxStage approach to chronic renal care is an innovative treatment plan known as System One. Nxstage System One provides treatment of acute and chronic renal failure or fluid overload using hemofiltration, hemodialysis and/or ultrafiltration. Together, we provide state of the art dialysis care and innovative approaches to perform dialysis at “Home”.
Our residents benefit from our On-Site Hemodialysis Program by eliminating the travel, inconvenience and lengthy time commitment of going to a traditional dialysis center for treatment. The System One provides “simplicity, flexibility and portability to make hemodialysis a practical reality, without compromising safety of our residents.”
This program is overseen by Board-Certified Nephrologists. Our Hemodialysis program is offered 6 days a week, with convenience and ease. Residents at Rock Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center now have the chance to enjoy the health benefits of hemodialysis with a new level of personal freedom.
Our care is overseen by a clinical management team that are comprised of physicians, medical directors, registered nurses, social workers, dieticians, nephrology technologists, patient care technologists and administrators. Our focus is to provide superior outcomes for our residents.
Rock Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is committed to providing quality of life for our residents in comfortable and familiar surroundings, while eliminating concerns over time spent in transportation to an outside dialysis center due to inclement weather.
Rock Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center’s Admission Director will provide an on-site assessment and gather all of the necessary paperwork to expedite the admission process. We accept all forms of payment including but not limited to Medicare, Public Aid, Public Aid Pending and many Private Insurances.
